The 88th Academy Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on February 28, 2016, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California at 5:30 p.m. PST / 8:30 p.m. EST. And the nominees for the 88th annual Academy Awards were announced several days ago in Los Angeles, setting the stage for the next few weeks of Oscar campaigning.
